Here is my second card for today's color challenge. You know if you give me two different choices of colors that I HAVE to make two cards. This is for my same friend that asked for a card for her brother. She also wanted one for her sister. I found this lovely sentiment on Pinterest and printed it out on vellum using one of my fonts from the Hungry JPEG Supreme Font Bundle. After I die cut the vellum and the coloring book page, I traced the vellum and only colored in where it was going to cover. I just love these colors together and I was sad to cover them up with the vellum, but I did get the neat look that I was hoping for.
I really enjoyed the wonderfully versatile sketch Carey has provided today. And I used two things that I never use on my cards--chipboard and vellum. I love how they complement each other. One being so delicate and one being so heavy. I die cut the chip board using my stitched squares die, cut it in half, and colored it with a black marker to make nice sturdy corners for my light vellum.

Gorgeous, Jen! Love the partial coloring of the background and the vellum allows the sentiment to really stand out against the pretty colors! Beautiful and creative use of the sketch!

Oh my goodness first I am in love with that sentiment. I have two fantastic sisters and I totally am going to have to find that sentiment. Second your coloring only on the velum is genius and I am just going to have to use that on a card. Brilliantly done with the color challenge and this amazing card with today's layout!
