For the WTUI challenge this week - you'll be able to find out what the story is HERE.
Like my other sample, this too uses a birthday gift - I've been having fun with my Mermaid Markers thanks to Lorraine. This was my first try out at playing with them - I thought the vibrant colours would be good with this image. It's stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black and coloured entirely with markers. Edged with a black pen.
For the base, I scribbled a couple of the markers on a craft mat and spritzed with water, then did a monoprint background using a circle stencil. I edged this with a black pen too. Then added the eyelets and threaded through some fun fibres which were a perfect colour match! Decided to add a sentiment, so moved the flamingo lower down the card (popped up on foam), and added a little banner sentiment edged with pink Stickles.

I like your flamingo too....we were on the same wave length today. Terrific coloring of your image and the "fringe-y" trim is so unique and gives you card an extra flair, Sabrina.

Well look at you puilling out your eyelets! This is so bright & fun with that feathery fringe strung through your eyelets - a flamingos dream come true!

What a fun and colorful card, Sabrina. Good way to use those eyelets for showing off those fibers.
