Whew! This was a multi-challenge for me today. For the very first time, my 7-yr-old granddaughter asked me to make her a card, specifically basketball, because she wants to be a basketball player. Or a gymnast. She hasn't quite decided. Maybe both. Anyway, the Alpha card challenge for this week is the letter O, so I decided to do the sketch challenge (for guidance on where to put stuff!), the Alpha challenge (extra credit for using Owls), and my granddaughter's request for a basketball card by combining all three and having a little girl who plays basketball for the Mighty Owls! Some of my markers bled, hopefully she won't notice, and the ink from the paper-pieced gym suit bled onto my little girl's chin. Oh well. I did make the larger bg paper by downloading a basketball image and repeatedly copying it across the pink paper. Now I'm pooped. TFL!

LOL they're a laugh at that age, my 7yr old niece is going to be either a bus driver or an artist with her own gallery where she's going to sell her paintings! Fabulous personalised card, bet she loved it!

How sweet of you! This is an adorable card. I bet she just loved it! I like your background and your coloring. If you hadn't pointed out your bleeding of colors, I would not have known. We are our worst critics. You did an amazing job!

Oh, I just love the story of how this card came to be because your adorable granddaughter asked you to make one for her. I bet she was just as pleased as pleased could be with this fabulous card Kandie. Your little athlete is so cute and so are these owls. What a fun card this is! ~Karen.
