In traditional Christmas colors...
I started the base for this card with 2 octagons and I cut one into triangles.
I attached then these triangles to the other octagon, made a copy and cut out the star shape by hand.
I decorated it with PP and added a brad for closure to one of the triangles.
I attached the circle layers with the image Fairy from Mo Manning to another triangle and closed my card with the brad.
On the inside I stamped a Christmas sentiment from Different Colors with Versafine and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
The sentiment says:
"It's dark outside and fireworks lighten the air.
Indoors the champagne pops, candles and light make Christmas cozy, and a good start for the new year".

Your coloring of the image is SO beautifully done......but the stellar feature of your Christmas card is the intricate format and the beautiful "star" is makes when it is opened.

I have been card making for over 20 years, and have never seen anything like this before. Amazing the way it blossoms open, and your coloring is phenomenal. Thanks for joining us at Through the Craft Room Door
