I used a real sand dollar that was stamped with Flourishes Coastal Christmas wreath that I made the other day as my circle part of the sketch. Braided some twine for the ornament hanger, this beachy ornament will come off easily when you are through with it as a greeting card. For the background I painted some gesso on a piece of designer paper and added some sage ink to make it look like white-washed wood. Added mini starfish, banner, and glass bubble beads to embellish.

I have an affinity for the ocean and the beach, having been born in Eureka, CA...walking distance to the ferry and Samoa Is. on Pacific coast! This is a FABULOUS work of art and touches my heartstrings!
