I knew I wanted to use 'ukulele for the 'U' challenge, but couldn't figure out what I wanted to do. I had old patterned paper with ukuleles and guitars on it, but I couldn't make it work until I looked at MommaPatti's gallery. She's the featured stamper for this week. When I saw her side step cards So Sweet by MommaPatti at Splitcoaststampers , a light went on and I decided to cut out the ukeleles from the dp and mount them on the step card. The SU Extreme guitar image was perfect for this too. I just removed the cord from the guitar and also one key, so it seems as if there are only 4 strings. I ink distressed the little strips of music score on the back two steps. No sentiment.

I have the same exact paper and have not used it yet. This gives me some incentive! I just want to say 'Rock on!' with this card - you rocked it to the max!

Oh Ina what a fantastic card for the letter U alphabet challenge. Where were you when I was making my nephew's card for his November 18th birthday? He would have flipped out over this wonderful card- truly! I am adding this gorgeous card to my fav's so I can case it at a future time. You really put a lot of thought and ingenuity into this wonderful card and it truly shows. Hugs! ~Karen.
