My sweet sistah from anudder mudder Robin, spoiled me rotten and sent me this wonderful Sizzix die. I couldn't wait to use it!!!
It is a little known fact that Santa and his elves have a reindeer racing track at the North Pole. Here we have Poppy and her prize reindeer in the warm-up yard.
The background was made by spraying black Dylusions ink spray onto alfoil and then squirting on some ironing spray. This is going to sound weird, but the spray starch isn't as 'wet' as water and does not spread as far as water.
I just plopped an A4 sheet of cardstock onto the puddle and rubbed my hand over the back of the card. To work out what part of the cardstock to use, I placed acetate stamped images of the tree and fairy on the cardstock and also sat the reindeer on it.
I didn't want the tree to be a feature so I stamped it off twice before stamping on the card, I used a white gel pen in a few places.
This would not have been possible without my MISTI. I must have stamped Poppy about 10 times!! After stamping Poppy I pierced a hole above her top hand and two holes on her lower hand and threaded the twine into place.
Thank you for looking, I hope you have a happy weekend.

Oh, sis, this is magical and amazing! I so love it and love the fairy tale feel to it. You are so creative and clever, and how dear that sweet Robin sent the sweet reindeer. You surely put her to good use. I always love reading your description of the process, and this is true joy! Hugs, sis! xoxo

Susie, I lack the words to describe your amazing card! My feeble attempt is stunningly, jaw-dropping, fantabulous! I love the beautiful patterns and soft grey tones with the lovely fairy and reindeer silhouettes and the silver cord lasso just adds to the magic of your art! I bow to your creativity and talent, my friend!!!!!

Oh, WOW! Love, love your silhouettes! Excellent job on the inspiration!
I'm disabled and don't sleep well, up and down all night. That's why you see my cards posted all hours of the night, good thing I'm retired. :-) All of you are my friends!

I Love your background on this!!! You always come up with the BEST backgrounds! When I first saw this a warm cozy feeling came over me....like when I curl up in my favorite chair with a bowl of buttered popcorn and settle in to watch an old favorite black and white movie. Ahhh. And your silver cord with the addition of the mechanics of attaching it is a Fantastic Bonus! You are my Splashy, Spraying, Squirty, Inky GURU! Thank you.
