OK, I admit it; I am addicted to the Elegant Writer bleeding technique! I've been playing and playing all week. I started last night to try coloring once I had the baseline shading, bleeding set. So when I saw that Cathy wanted us to use apples today I decided to draw and then color my bushel of apples (Lots of step by step photos on my blog). I drew the image (copying from a coloring page I found online) and then used water to pull the color from the black sketched lines (this gives blues, greys and purples). I then used my Chameleon pens to add color (Hot Cocoa, Crimson Red and Olive Green). I added in some details using a Smoky Slate marker. I sponged Turquoise along the edges and stamped my sentiment. I framed in black and used a Kraft base dry embossed with the Square Lattice ef.

Gail, you are using that technique to create a beautiful card.......I like using it too! Neat to see the colors when it bleeds into the water. Great idea to use a coloring book for your sketching. Fantastic job!!!!! tfs

This is stunning - will have to check out that technique. Love that basket looking textured background as well. Matches so well with the pail of apples.

Jaw-dropping coloring on this card - wow! Don't know how you accomplished the color bleed technique, I'll peek into your blog later and try to figure it out. Gorgeous creation. TFS!
