For TLC605 ~ Faux Stamped Leather - find all the challenge details and tutorial link HERE.
After creating my leather panel ( I used squeezed lemonade, wild honey, vintage photo, and walnut stain distress inks) I added piercing all round the edges. The Serendipity word die was cut from a scrap of Bandanna technique, and covered with Stickles. I was going to add a Flower Shop punched flower, but thought this lovely Prima suited the feel of the card - and I was lucky enough to find some old DP to match it. I tucked a little lace under it and stuck it to the card.

I still have that fabulous card with the faux leather cowboy boot that you sent me which I just love. You are the master of technuques, and you make the most sensational faux leather pieces. This is fabulous...that lace looks so great with the leather piece. You have been in my thoughts....I hope you found some "happy memories" when you were going through dd's stuff. I remember thinking that my mom was related to Imelda Marcos with all the gorgeous shoes she owned...then I wondered how many toes I would have you cut off to fit into them. Hugs

Beautiful card, Sabrina. You added just the right feminine accents to take it from what could be a "masculine technique" to be appropos for the girliest girl.

Your hand-tooled leather looks awesome - reminds me of some of the tooled leather purses in Juarez Mexico. The lace & fabric flower add great dimension.

Wow! This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the way your faux leather turned out (it looks like the real thing) and I love the colors you used here. The prima flower is just fantastic and I love the hint of lace too! I have already put this into my favs! ~Karen.
