Good morning, wonderful friends! It's hard to believe September is half over ready - wow! Well, today is the day to reveal the newest Instant Garden digital release, and it's a sweet black-eyed Susan with three sentiments. I did something totally different from what I've done so far with the digital images - I fussy cut the image - oh my! Yes, I printed it out to fit the size I wanted for my layout (one of the benefits of a digital image), colored it, and fussy cut it! Oh, how I loved doing that! And this pretty black-eyed Susan is easier to cut out than I thought it would be. I CASE'd one of the beautiful birthday cards I received (thank you, Tracy)! I embossed the teal designer paper and sanded it to show the raised portion. Next I printed one of the sentiments from Cuppa Buttercups and then used the notebook edge die, rounded the edges of the "notebook" and popped it over the embossing. I used my Empressor tool to add some shape to the petals and leaves, added something dimensionals, and popped it in place. And I even added some Wink of Stella to the petals and sequins! Wow, I think I am really getting wild, eh? But I think they work with the card.
NOW, there is some big news over at the Power Poppy blog about a big SALE and a Coloring Contest. And there are two free Coloring Pages from the first Mini Challenge. You can find all the details on my blog and (of course) on the Power Poppy blog. But this is the weekend to save some money on some of the beautiful digital sets.
As always, thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend! Big hugs, sweet friends!

This is a really cute page from your notebook. Great job fussy cutting the image and colouring it so nicely. The embossing folder background looks great and sanded so nicely. I am yet to come to grips with digital images - I nearly downloaded one to have a try the other day from Poppy Power - but might just have to go back and complete the download. he he

That is a beautiful stem of black-eyed Susans, Cheryl. Good job fussy cutting. Love that you sanded the paper and made it so pretty. Awesome card in every way.
