This card is a pure unadulterated indulgence on my part and I have loved every minute of doing it.
When I was doing the first color challenge card for this week "Oh Christmas Tree" I suddenly thought an old PSX botanical stamp of a poinsettia would work perfectly.
Brisbane is in the subtropics and poinsettias grow really well here, we have three in our garden one of which is pink.
This card is watercolor painting using the SU re-inkers mentioned above.
I put straight ink into one pan, two parts ink to two parts water into another and two parts ink to four parts water in another then using the weakest wash first I built up the colors.
There was a few stops and starts which caused some slight blooming that I had to try and get ride of. I don't know why family think they aught to be fed!!!!
I'm not sure that the greeting is in the right spot but I had a slight accident when initially stamping the image which left a couple of faint marks so the greeting is covering them, other than that I'm happy with the way it turned out.
Cheers
Marg

Oooh gorgeous card, LOVE your stamp!
It must be lovely having poinsettias grow in your garden - ours in Ireland are always of the sad potted type, and they're lucky to last a fortnight in my house!
