Karen is our hostess this week and she has chosen blushing bride, soft sky, wild wasabi and glitter for dessert!
On a separate piece of cs, I stamped and embossed the flowers. I created a small mask for the flower centers and then sponged the flowers and leaves with the chosen colors. Then I masked the whole flowers while I sponged the bg. Splattered the bg with diluted inks of the same colors, and also white acrylic paint. Stamped sentiment and matted in white, then adhered to soft sky card front. I was about to add some glitter, but then decided for this type of card I would prefer simplicity.

Oh, Maura! This is GORGEOUS, and I too could look at this forever! I love the beautiful colors and how you've arranged the flowers! And I love the splatter and the beautiful sentiment! What stamp set is that from? I love it and think it is one of the prettiest and probably useful for so many cards. Well, I think this is definitely one of my favorite cards in a long time! Totally captured by it!! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
