For Janelle's School Ruled MIX challenge today.
I couldn't easily find my grid paper - so I used some knitting chart paper which comes to the same thing...gave it a couple of coats of gesso.
Stamped the leaf, embossed with clear EP, masked, and stamped Wonderfully Worn in Wild Honey.
Used a wet brush to add some purple spatters with an Inktense pencil, removed the mask and coloured the leaf with Inktense pencils. Yes, it's not glorious vivid colours - most of the leaves here aren't! I tore the edges, punched the top and sponged one edge with green.
Base is Bazzill embossed, sanded and sponged, with a Stickles edging.

This reminds me of the leaf collections we had to do every fall at the beginning of the school year! I'll bet if I was a card aker back then I would have the best leaf collection booklet ever! I would use stamps like this to mark off sections. Really fun!

Such a great rustic look to this lovely fall card, Sabrina. Your leaf looks so real...the colors may not be vibrant, but they sure look great. The purple bg is so pretty with the splatters.
