I am joining in for the Inspiration Challenge today where we had a visit to an online Wall Plate site. I have had decorative switch plates since the mid 90's when I went to a Craft Fair in North Vancouver. There was a booth of Nancy O'Toole's work. She is a Vancouver artist who I have long admired for her work in acrylic. At that fair I bought a print of hers called "Song in Blue" and the matching plates for my bathroom. I loved them so much, I went back and bought plates for every switch and socket in my house, and I still use them today. But, back to my card (lol). I picked this for my inspiration: http://www.wallplatesonline.com/p/91...itchplate.aspx
I coloured my stamp and steamed it before stamping. I mounted it on narrow foam on top of a partial diamond panel. Stamped my sentiment with Salty Ocean several times, with the help of my personal assistant, MISTI. A few sequins to finish ...
Just a note, on my blog I included a picture of my bathroom print and switch if you are interest in a look http://aplaceforkia.blogspot.ca/2016...er-friend
