This card is for today's Color Challenge and Yesterday's Technique Challenge. I also put ink to the extra stamp set from April's Paper Pumpkin. I had not yet used it. I thought the images would look softer with some watercolor effects, so I inked the main flower in Wisteria Wonder and added Elegant Eggplant around the edges with the rock and roll technique. Then I spritzed with water and stamped onto the paper. After it was dry I went back in and added some brushstrokes fanning out of the center. All images were stamped and spritzed with water. I also used a brush to add touch of color here and there and to blend out the watercolor. I brushed my Soft Sky pad along all the edges and then used a wet brush to pull the color in. I added Wink of Stella to the flowers and stardust gel pen to the leaves (since my wink of stella is almost out of wink), I finished the card by stamping a greeting and layering the card onto a mat and then a folded card. I think I like this set much better with everything softened up so pretty.

The combination of spritzing along with the rock and roll is a wonderful effect, Kathy. It certainly has given those flowers a lovely soft watercolour look! I really like the diagonal layout too. Thanks for playing along with the TLC.
