Good morning everyone. Lydia.....thank you so much for your simple tutorial. I can honestly say I learned more from your short and sweet lesson than from anything else I've tried. And I really took everything you said to heart.....no OCD.....no overworking or overthinking. And I'm actually pretty happy with my results. There is one thing I am always disappointed with when I use 'real' watercolour (in this case Winsor Newton). To me.....it alway looks so flat when it dries. I hear about and see in OTHER peoples work the brightness and translucence that is supposed to result from using watercolour....but I don't see it here. Criticism honestly welcomed.

Your flowers look amazing, Jo, this is a beautiful card and I love the pretty pink. I'm like you with watercolouring - I want to do it - must challenge myself to do so with practice, practice, practice LOl!

WOW, Jo! Just WOW! I love the soft, delicate look of your painting! It's that softness that's so beautiful. Nope- no criticism here. What a fabulous job you did and it's just gorgeous!
