Today we are making cards for stampin'nana's(Roberta) aunt. Her Aunt Dot fell and broke her humerous in the nursing home. I sure hope she mends without any more than the expected difficulties.
Aunt Dot like chocolates. My chocolates are only the ink and Chocolate Chip cardstock. She likes red and yellow so I have that. She is a woman of faith so I added those encouraging words.
I stamped, colored, and embossed, then scored across the card every 1/2". I filled in the scored lines with distressed ink. It isn't what I call a clean card but I like it just the same and hope Aunt Dot will.

I love this image - and the way you sliced it up like this too.

What a cool technique with the scored lines - it reminds me of a barn board wall hanging. Great card!

I love the sort of vintage look your scoring has added - it reminds me of a panelled painted shop front in town that has now totally worn away, but in its gently fading stages it was beautiful and I took several photos of it.

Oh, Brenda, this is gorgeous, and I love this beautiful flower and the wonderful words that will surely encourage Roberta's aunt. But I especially love the background with the scoring and the distress ink you've added! A truly beautiful card! Hugs, sweet friend! (Yes, I've missed some of your cards as well - times just flies and so much happens life, eh?)
