well, if truth be toad, I missed a part of Beate's tutorial about misting the colors before you smack it onto your paper. I smacked my toad and then fussy cut him. So the bones of the technique are there...just not as vivid.
Love is in the air after my ballerina frog made an appearance in the gallery last week. And my toady fella better get busy...I made wings for him with the ACT feather stamp and die cut set. I used three of the dies, two on velum and one on an olive paper. He just needs to read the sentiment and spread those wings...
The background was made with the bubble stencil. I used the FX acrylic inks in 4 colors. It was a perfect foil for using sequins...and I managed a whole 9 on this card...
Mr Toad is going to grace the CAS gallery today...the challenge was bring out those Spring Critters...and I hope he gathers his courage and finds luv.
Have a wonderful week, all. And thanks very much for stopping by...

This is so funny! He's a perfect mate for your ballerina! You shouldn't smack your toad - that's animal abuse. I thought he was a frog fairy when I first saw the thumbnail.

I'm going wear out the {heart} symbol on your cards...I love them all and this one is no exception! Toad-ally adorable, creative (the wings alone are so amazing), love the dots at the bottom...what else can I say...I'll just smile and enjoy

You know, your card would be fabulous without the dragonfly. But that's what you do with your cards......always the little extra detail that make your shine. I hope froggy finds love. You'll have to keep us posted. No pressure. Haha.

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?

This is so cute. I love your coloring. I also like the way you use those sequence. I got some out today but haven't really figured the place out yet. I like the way you place them so flawlessly on your work.
