Well, Audrie - I love miniatures as well! I have a miniature doll house half finished up in my attic all electrified and furnished just waiting for me to retire so I can find time to play with it again!
So I really enjoyed looking at Lorraine's video as well as all of her projects! For my inspiration - I decided to look into 2013 and go to my birth date - 9/5 and I found this sweet little cupcake.
I got out this sweet little cupcake stamp from the Coffee Set from WMS and I also had a wonderful coffee bag die and thought the cupcake would look sweet on it - it measures just 1 3/8" x 2 3/4" - so all is 'miniature' on my project!
I left one side of the tab closure strip open at the top so you could see how the bag actually closes just like a 'real' coffee bag - I glued a piece of wire inside the tab so it would hold the bag closed when folded back.
Not sure if you can see - but there is even a little window cut out behind the cupcake and I put a piece of clear acetate there so, if I hadn't filled the space with a cupcake, you would see what was inside the bag. I put the Cadbury eggs next to the bag so you could judge the size!
Unfortunately, this sweet bag die is no longer available - did you hear that Waltzingmouse is closing at the end of March?? So sad.... The versatile Coffee set is still in stock at the moment.
Thank you for introducing us to this beautiful world of miniature art Audrie!

how cool to make it all in miniature....I would never have the patience to work with tiny things....must be my big hands that would make me too clumsy to do so......sweet treat bag
