A very simple card for a birthday with a blueberry cupcake and chocolate frosting!! Colored the cupcake with Copics and shaded around it using chalk.
Had trouble with the sentiment, had to redo it several times. The stamp does not have much depth and so the bg picks up the ink. Tried to reink the stamp so many different ways. Ended up inking the stamp and then taking a small q-tip and cleaned the extra ink off the stamp!
Has anyone else ever experienced this issue with a stamp?

Yummmm! That chocolate icing is calling to me. I lovew how you used the candles as the banner element. And the polka dot paper is so light and fresh looking.
