In Massachusetts, visitors flock to see all the historic places, among them Plymouth Rock, where the Pilgrims were supposed to have landed. Imagine their surprise (and shock) when they see the teeny little thing under a monument style gazebo at the shore. The first time I saw it, I thought it was some kind of joke!!
These pilgrim mice are happy to be beside the rock.......it's not much bigger than they are!!
If you're a history buff, go to the Freedom Trail, Old North Church, or the Granary Burial Ground. Skip the rock.

This just makes me giggle! Yup - it's a pathetic little rock, but your Pilgrim mice are so adorable!
Plymouth rock is really just a symbol - nobody actually knows if they even stepped on a rock getting off the boat. In fact they actually landed 1st at the tip of the Cape (Provincetown), then went on to Plymouth. It was much larger at one time, but people kept chipping of pieces for sovenirs - that's why they built a monument over it - to protect what is left.

I was there as a kid. I don't remember a whole lot though. Isn't there a replica of the Mayflower somewhere too?
Well, your card is fun and the pilgrim mice are perfect!

Ha! Anne, I was just doing some random gallery browsing and came across this hoot of a card. I love that you made the rock to scale by using mice. LOL!
