My card was inspired by a converstion I had with my good friend, Carol Mercill. Carol gave me the idea of using the dove on this side step card. My other starting points were the SUOnly Challenges, seen here: http://suochallenges.com/
and the colors in the color challenge this week: hello honey, rose red and garden green.
While these colors seem wild to me, I think they looked nice on that very busy dove. I HAD to stamp on the vellum to soften up the colors; so I took advantage of the vellum and allowed the wings to go beyond the circle. I really like that. And so the colors on the dove would show up clearly, I added white cardstock to the back of the dove.
