Thanks for a great inspiration site Audrie. Today was a make it work moment for my Brusho... When I saw this swimsuit I knew I had a stencil that would work for a background. I have been playing with my Brusho for awhile but I haven't been happy with what I was creating. Same thing happened today. I just wasn't getting enough white space in my design. So I just kept cutting it down until I was happy and it worked. I colored my Darcie's penguin to match my Brusho panel and airbrushed 3 sequins to match. I used my Misti to stamp my sentiment. It is a good thing I've learned to leave my stamp onto the Misti until I'm done because just as I was putting the first card together some "wild" Brusho appeared on the front of the card..... So I started over and re-stamped another card base... The Misti is perfect for these occasions.

My most favorite technique is fussy cutting. I used a little Ranger stickles for my Penguin's hat.
Thanks for looking

If only I could fussy cut as well as you do, it might be my favorite technique as well - lol. Your cute penguin looks like he was cut out with a matching die! Your brusho background looks great, brings to mind a breezy, cold winter day.

I love this. Your background is fantastic and your fussy cutting on the sweet penguin is perfect. I don't know what Brusho is but love your background.

I love how this turned out, and I agree with Karen, sometimes a partial panel surrounded by white space is even more effective! Love your card, thanks for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
