I was totally Inspired by this gorgeous Happy Flowers Stencil Card by Maria Fischer. Maria made her card for STAMPlorations Day 5 Stencil Blog Hop. The Hop is over, but do visit to see the awesome samples by the amazing DT. There are specials for a few more days too :-)
I sponged all my distress inks thru the stencil and then added Golden's Modeling Paste, which picked up the colors while drying :-) When dry I sponged additional color around the flowers like Maria did on her card, which did not have the paste. TFS Maria.

Wow! Love your use of the modeling paste to add depth to this, also the extra color you sponged around the completed flowers. This looks like a 3-D watercolor. So pretty.

What a wonderful effect with that technique, Nancy! Love the way the paste makes the flowers just pop! The splash of color in on the background looks fantastic!
