Distress ink pads were rubbed directly onto an acrylic block and spritzed liberally with water and pressed to the paper to achieve the watercolored background. Allow each color to dry before applying the next color.

Wow... what a striking bg. The fuschia and orange look just like a fantastic sunset. The stamped image works so well with the bg, and I love the sentiment. Just gorgeous.
