CAS320 - 4-13-15 - Stencil It by mrslaird
It's a beautiful spring day here and I was thinking about the bees when the flowers come. I stenciled the bg panels with paste, die cut the bee once and one more time for vellum wings, added stripes with a black sharpie and some adhesive gem trim. I could not resist using black for the sentiment label.
Thank you Ally and Paula for great challenges and for buzzing by!

It has been years since I last saw honeybees in my garden. :-( I certainly love yours though! That honeycomb background is amazing! The way you put together your bee complete with sparkle (like dew on them in the early morning) is fantastic. What a great way to use the sketch too! I love your card!

You have such a great CAS style. Your cards are always, clean, crisp and uncluttered. Wow, your molding paste looks fabulous as your bg and yes, your bee is totally perfect and something we'll be seeing in the very near future.

Angela, this card fascinates me. As others have mentioned, the embossing paste background is perfect with your image and adds a rich texture to the card. I am taken with the split panel effect you used under the bee. The skinny line of yellow cs peeking through the layers zips my eye right to that glorious bee, bridging the gap between. Great design concept, beautifully executed!
Thanks for your kind comments on the cards I did for the watercolor background challenge. It always brings a smile to my face to see your avatar pop up on my screen.
