The Addicted to CAS challenge is "Green" so perfect to get another card done for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge March theme of trees.
The background is done with green bister powder - amazing how many colours came out of it. I sprinkled a bit on coated cs and spritzed with water and let the colours run. When dry, I stamped the word winter in Distress Pine Needles and heat embossed in clear. The bit of text is part of the "winter in verse" stamp - I inked it with the Distress Evergreen Bough marker.
The green bister is a very blue-green so chose a similar shade of green shimmer cs for the die cut tree and the border. I die cut the tree twice - once in the green and once in white and slightly set the white higher to give a slight sense of snow on the top edges of the branches.
I sprinkled Frantage Shabby Blue embossing enamel over the background and tree and heated from underneath.

I'm hoping they consider the card CAS enough - I think it's layout and design is CAS, and, even though it used a lot of products, it was pretty quick and easy to make.
