This is for Judy's great technique challenge - stamped acrylic block background.
I have stamped this girl many times and tried several backgrounds, so far nothing really worked...until now. Thanks to Judy, I am thrilled to bits and can't wait to use the same technique for all my Unity girls backgrounds.
I smacked Iced Spruce distress ink onto an acrylic block, squirted water on it and then banged it a couple of times on the cardstock. I got a bit carried away with the water so I picked up a baby wipe and gently dabbed the cardstock...the babywipe had some red ink on it and a tiny hint of red can be seen in the background.
After everything was nice and dry, I used MISTI stamping tool to stamp the girl. Before adhereing to the card, I lightly inked around the edge. The sentiment was partially stamped on the image background to tie everything in together.
Thank you for looking. Wishing everyone a happy week.
