This is an atypical card for me: retro...sort of, and a human figure. I was going through some of my kept treasures(saving for special occasions, I guess) and came across this sweet image that Polly had sent me, goodness knows when. She even had a post-it attached to the back telling me the source and the ink she used to stamp it. Today's sketch from Cathy seemed like that "special occasion" to make a valentine! (Where I live, we can have a snowy Valentine's Day) : )
Thanks, Polly.

What a wonderful image. Now how did you get the hearts to line up with the die cut - so well done and a great idea. It is nice to see lovely things that you have kept for that special occasion being used up in such a delightful card.

It might be atypical for you, Sallie, but that is the sweetest vintage image ever! Love the little girl with her dog on her lap - and coloured so well that I can feel the chill in the image!!

Aw Sallie, isn't she the sweetest ever! Your colouring is exquisite and the snowflakes a bonus here. I love that beautiful love sentiment, matching so wonderfully with that pretty heart paper.

Love that image, Sallie! Her face is just shows how COLD it is with the wind hitting it and running downhill! You colored her beautifully and love the bright paper you chose for the card base. I would never have thought to use it for Valentines but what a fun one this is!
