I must preface this with saying the idea is not original to me. I saw Nicole Heady's card when she was introducing this stamp set and really loved the ombred effect she achieved. She used various inks, but I only used one for today's CAS challenge. I achieved the ombred effect by off-stamping. At the bottom, I had off-stamped three times to get the palest shade. A super quick and easy OLC valentine.
For Joan's TLC, I am probably fudging a bit. We were to have multi-colored greetings. (On my card, it is all in how you look at it. : ) It can be "colors" of dark red to pale pink.)

I love this. It's so cute and what a neat sentiment. I don't think you cheated at all in your coloring of the sentiment. We all have a different take on the challenges. I like to see how everyone thinks. It keeps us true to ourselves.

What a great card! The repeated background fading towards the bottom really pulls the eye to your sentiment. ...which is terrific by the way! Fantastic look!
