Yay, it is Tickle a Teapotter week, and Faith has asked us to make a card showing friends - sharing coffee, running about the slopes, picking flowers, paddling in a stream, the hand of friendship. Well, my card shows 2 friends, just having picked some pretty flowers and now delighting in each other, celebrating a New Year!!
This was really a quick card once I decided what to do - embossed the white layer, popped it on to the indigo and card front, stamped the image and sentiment, then sponged all the way around the outside before adding the flowers. This is definitely a much calmer way to celebrate than my crazy friend, Susie Australia's card shows - that girl really knows how to PAR-TAY!!
Hope to see a lot more of the teapotters coming back for the parties now that the holidays are winding up.
Thanks for looking and Happy New Year!

OH these 2 look like they are having so much fun and so pretty. Beautiful. The soft sponging around that embossing a lovely idea, softens it and really shows off the girls and sentiment...lovely spray of flowers to finish it off...TFS..:0)

Your card is so pretty. I love the pretty blue shades that you chose and the silhouette is so sweet. I love how you used the flowers around the embossed frame.
