This is like a stairstep card on steroids!! I made this last week for our craft group to give to our terrific friend Robbo. Robbo celebrated her 60th birthday last Sunday, we had a high tea and were on our very best lady-like behaviour!!
This is supposed to look like we are all sitting outside on the porch, laughing and talking. The ladies on the right have not been altered, however the ladies on the left all started out life as an AI stamp of the girlfriends sitting on sunchairs in their bathers (swimming costumes).
I fussy cut them away from the chairs, hand drew a couch to match the other ladies, then repositioned them. I made new clothes and covered up their swimwear.
I coloured the ladies with distress inks and an aqua pen, paperpieced their clothes, hats etc. The windows have acetate and gathered paper curtains.
The banner is attached with safety pins. I don't think I have ever taken so lobg to make one card, but I had a ball and we laughed trying to work out who was who!!
Thank you for looking.

This is so amazing Susie. I love you found a way to totally make everything work down to designing new clothes and furniture. Totally impressive and into my faves. Hugz
