This week I've used only dies and one stamp for my sentiment! Since I've seen so many beautiful cards using dies, I decided to play with the Peaceful Poinsettia dies. I made a matted circle with a lattice insert and surrounded it with poinsettias (adding seed beads for the centers) and foliage and added my sentiment. Then I layered it over an embossed background with a red border and added some paper piercing. Fairly simple, but it was a challenge to figure out how to place it all - but it was fun for a change. Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it!

SO sorry I have not had any time in the gallery... and I missed this this when you posted it. It is AMAZING! Your signature piercing ROCKS on this card...and I love the Ef you chose! Your poinsettia's are just beautiful and the lattice work is the perfect backing for them. LOVE this!

Cheryl, the ruby red for the poinsettias is just beautiful. I love your piercing...you do such a great job with that. Pretty embossing folder and the lattice makes a lovely piece to perch those poinsettias. Beautiful work AND card.

I don't think everyone knows the design challenge there is when creating with only dies. But you sure have shown us how, Cheryl. All of the elements are placed perfectly. And that makes this card a real winner! Merry Christmas dear friend. Wishes and prayers for a safe and healthy new year to you and your husband.
