I have been looking at all of the gorgeous winter snowy scenes on cards here at SCS and on Pinterest. I've watched a couple of tutorials and thought I'd try my hand at it.
The first thing that I did was stamp one of the Itty BItty stamps with Versamark around the top 3/4 of the card and heat embossed with Iridescent ep. I placed a mask down and then stamped the pine tree from the Lovely As A Tree set and heat embossed with green ep. I adjusted the mask on the bottom of the card and sponged the sky with Midnight Muse. I moved the mask around and used the same ink for the snow drifts. I wiped off the ink from the sky so that the snowflakes/stars could shine. The Iridescent ep gives them a sparkle. I added the sentiment and inked around the edges of the image with Midnight Muse.
My trees don't exactly line up with the snowbank, so I'm gonna try this again after work. It was fun and easy to make!
Have a terrific Monday!

I think you can't see the bottoms of your trees because of the snow drifting off the tops of the mounds! :-) This is a lovely peaceful scene. Your snow drifts are so well done! Great card!

Perfect sentiment for this pretty and peaceful scene. I love it when it snow with the big fluffy flakes. Great job with this TFS..:0)
