This is for two challenges. The first is the color challenge this week. No dessert for me. The second is for the Teapot Challenge. This card will be sent to an elderly gentleman named Erie who is very depressed at being moved to a nursing facility. I'm praying this lifts his spirits a bit.
I drew a horizon line with the ink pad then sponged the morning sky with coral and cantaloupe. I stamped the birds then I added bashful blue for the water.
I stamped the words in a darker color so Ernie would be able to read this and hopefully believe it.
Praying for you Ernie.

What a thoughtful message for give Ernie a boost - knowing others care enough to let him know he is thought about - hoping this encourages him to attempt to spread the thankfulness around, even as he starts to experience it himself!!

Beautiful card! Love your beachy scene and soft blended colors. Your verse is so appropriate and I am confident it will help to lift this gentleman's spirits.

I covet the control you wield over your inkpad in the direct-to-paper technique! This is a wonderful masculine card. Thanks so much for coming to Ernie's Teaparty...he will love this! I hope that you get plenty of those inspirational cookies!!
