I wasn't going to participate today since it is a busy day for me, but I found a few minutes since my curiosity about this technique got the best of me.
It was an adventure since I have very FEW Copic refills and they really don't go well together, but I forged ahead. Looked "blah" so I decide to try Memento reinkers. This was NOT successful at all...they sat there like globs. I pushed them around with a toothpick, then gave a dowsing of alcohol spray...better, but not great. Finally used a used dryer sheet and hand sanitizer and dabbed the whole mess....that is the result you see now. Not the best, but not the worst. : )

Happy accidents..this turned out just lovely. Thanks for sharing the process and for keeping on keeping on and then sharing. We have all been there but mine don't usually turn out this beautiful. I am in "want" over your wavy crimper. I have never seen one to purchase! Your winter scene turned out delightful!

how did you get your crimped paper to look like waves/snow drifts? I have only seem crimpers that do straight lines. did you put the paper in at an angle?
think it looks great btw.... love the contrast of dark & white

Absolutely LOVE the way this technique turned out for you! You might think it was an experiment, but the way you worked your way through the process, it sure turned it into another gorgeous background - love the stark 'whiteness' of the trees with that awesome color in the background! Just marvelous! Going to try this one - sounds "adventurous"!! LOL

Actually, I think your bg looks pretty fabulous! I love how you kept at it and were rewarded with this really cool bg!!! The white die cuts look amazing with the green backdrop!
