Congratulations Karren (karrenj) on becoming our newest featured stamper. Your gallery is amazing. Here is the lovely card that inspired me Bella Toile Embossing
I love the bright colours and design. It reminds me of a beautiful patchwork quilt. I had this paper pieced quilt made and in my stash. I just had to do the stitching. The groovy chic was also coloured, the flower and leaves were already punched = waiting to be used. I added stickles to the white polka dots and liquid pearls to the blue dp, and crystal effects to here glasses. I made the brown base frame. Started with kraft paper. Painted with yellow acrylic paint and painted brown over top. Next I inked up my sanded backgrounder stamp with basic brown and stamped, then I painted overtop with faux glazing medium. Sponged the edges. Placed the crazy quilt block on top. Sticked onto brown base. Stamped on the sentiment. Added the hippy chic standing on stool and the flower. She's at a Love/Peace festival.
This works for the WT487 - tantilizing texture, F4A230 - use bright and beautiful colours and the MIX77 - Patched challenge.
Thanks for looking,
Peace, Love and Friendship
hugs..Pat

Paper piecing perfection! Love all the little details and her clever little stool. Such a well-thought-out card that someone is going to fall in love with. Thanks so much for playing my Mix-Ability challenge!
