Whew I finally made it to the teaparty for little Grace from Kentucky. Sheri gave us a fun challenge to bring some birthday cheer to this sweet little four year old girl with serious health problems.
This looks a bit sparse for a pop up card. Initially I had some birthday candles popping up but then I realised there is no way it is going to make it to Kentucky by the 19th, so I whipped off the candles and added a couple of feathers, now it is more a thinking of you card.
The papers I have used are about twice as old as Grace LOL. They are the last of my favourite bright happy papers by Kaisercraft. The letters were cut from equally old papers by October Afternoon (I thonk)I would love to put some glitter on this but I only have slow drying glitter glue and I want to get this is the post before the weekend.
I have had a very ‘uneventful’ week (meaning I didn’t break, burn or damage anything). That may well change this weekend as I finally bought a Gelli plate!!
Thank you for looking and have a great week everyone.
