This is one of two cards I created for the CC475 color challenge "Point Me To A Real Pie" - Pacific Point, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie. It was totally inspired by this card I saw on Loll Thompson's blog:
I've been concerned about making a card for my husband's upcoming birthday, because my mojo has been pretty much AWOL the last couple of weeks. When I saw Loll's card it was like a light bulb went on over my head! Thank you, Loll!
Basically, I scribbled oil pastels, blended the individual colors slightly with OMS using a stump, and applied the gold Ferro paste through the stencil. I may have to seal it - will have to wait and see on that and hope that if I do the fixative doesn't dull the shine from the Ferro.
This was so easy, and so quick, but IMHO it looks terrific. I'm very pleased with it!
