This is for a very dear friend! I knew she would be expecting one of my ivory monochromatic cards. By now you all are thinking this is all I know really know how to make! When I make one it is like visiting an old friend and they have become a very loved one and they just seem to flow out of me! SO forgive yet another monochromatic card :-).
I started with the Marianne cut and emboss EF. Next a Spellbinder die cut, popped with dimentionals. I stamped in Crumb Cake the "Happy Birthday" (one of my very FIRST stamps) on another Spellbinder die cut and popped. I cut out the Memory Box Chesapeak Scrollwork and placed a Punch Bunch flower (with a pearl) to add some softness and movement to the card. The butterfly is Joy Craft. Lots of half pearls because sometimes I just can't stop myself! :-)
edit: The Spellbinders used on this card are from the Opulent Ovals set.
Thank you for looking!

Peggy you can make your monochromatic cards anytime! This is gorgeous. I especially like the squirelly things out of the top of the oval. The whole card is impressive.! tfs

Peggy, if you crafted nothing but ivory beauties like this I would be delighted. It takes a very talented eye to know how to pair fancy, filigree dies. This is a beautiful monochromatic card that imparts a quiet and graceful feel. Another favorite for me.
