What a wonderful sketch, Janette...I think I got all the elements in there! Check it out...
It's been a long time since I used my cracked egg and baby chick, I am in jeopardy as a birthday card. This egg definitely cracks me up.
I began with watercolor paper that I swiped with TH di tumbled glass blue and spritzed with water. Dried with my heat gun and then stamped the egg with Memento London Fog. I then overlaid a piece of acetate stamped again with the Stazon Cotton White. This toned down the blue of the egg. My lil' chick has it's downey fur compliments of Bo Bunnys fuzzy fuzz. I also watercolored the legs and beak. She is poised slightly behind the shell.
The thin horizontal element was paper primped for texture, though it doesn't show up in my picture. It looks quite nice IRL.
And now for the One4Joy made DP. My first public Gelli print...no don't ask me exactly what I used, but I made my very one Gelli plate from a You Tube Video. It was so much fun and I can't wait to have some extended time to play. I know I used about 3 shades of green, a couple of small stencils (leaves and pomegranates).
I added the Art Impressions quote:
Face it sweetie...
You ain't no spring chicken,
but Happy Birthday anyway!
Thanks for having a look, I really appreciate your comments. Have you Gellied yet??? What do you think????

Successful gelli print! FABULOUS on a home made gelli! How fun! I love how this turned out!
How you come up with these ideas in designing a card is amazing! Each card is so very different and fantastic in detail! That sentiment is too funny and I love that fuzzy little chick.
