Hello my SCS friends,
I have always wanted to use this jumbo parrot from Stampendous and today I had my chance. I got my inspiration from this hand-made book:http://www.flickr.com/photos/ruthbleakley/8501422756/
I wanted my CARD to look like a journal so I added the special Italian paper on the "binding" and made my bows look sort of like hand-binding. The black strip down the edge of the paper is actually ribbon too. I mounted my card face to a black folded card.
I got my bird book out to get the coloring right on the parrot. This is fairly close...With more practice it would probably look a little better but like I said, this is the first time I used this stamp.Oh, forgot to add that this stamp set came with a stencil of the parrot so I popped out the parrot, stuck re positional double sided tape runner on it and sprayed the background with Memories mist. It made the perfect mask!!
Thanks for looking!
