I made this card for an upcoming class I'm teaching this Saturday. I want to teach this fun and easy background technique (faux mother of pearl) ... and also how to add dimension by shaping die-cuts with a stylus and mat (leafy backdrop) ... and how to bring a flower to life by adding dimension (sponging / shaping), layering (paper tole), and details (veins and dots).
I struggled making this card until I realized that green leaves just weren't going to work. As soon as I switched to white leaves, it all worked together.
Off to design two more cards for the class that fit the categories I'm teaching ... hoping I'll have more cards to share soon!

Love the background on this. I wish I knew how you'd done that!
