This card was made for two things. One in honor of Limedoodle (FS367 late I know!) whose work I adore. I was inspired by the technique she has used on several of her cards which is to use dies and stamping to make the sentiment. Here is an example of what I am talking about: You are so Beautiful by yorkshire lass at Splitcoaststampers
She has a few others in her gallery.
The other reason for this card is a birthday card for the daughter of my heart.. Shawn is an amazing woman and I am proud to have been a part of her life when she was younger (step-daughter) and then went on to be a mentor and friend as she grew older. Shawn's mother has pancreatic cancer and Shawn has organized major marathons in 12 different cities, one a month to raise money and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer. https://www.facebook.com/#!/ShawnVer...arathonsForMom
Hope you are able to view this if you have an interest.
This beautiful Spellbinder edge was cut at our monthly die club. The Happy and Day are from the Simon Says "Oh Happy Day" die. The butterfly Memory Box is the Darla die and the top layer is beige Mulberry paper. You can't see the darker fibers that are in in this photo but it matched the two papers I used really well.
I have this matching disease....
Thanks for looking!

Gorgeous! The love you have for Shawn shows in this beautiful creation, Peggy! The way the border flows is your love that flows freely for her, and in turn her love for her Mother, Beautiful!
As soon as I spotted this card on Pinterest I knew it had to be your work! Just beautiful. Your step daughter will cherish it. Into my Pinterest favorites!
Hugs...Leanne

You are the queen of gorgeous cards! This is such a "WOW" card on all levels! That lacy border is just spectacular! Definitely into my favorites to keep all the rest of your cards company!
