Lots of serious inspiration to be found this week walking through the Ethan Allen Gallery. It was hard
to settle on one piece of furniture, but I have to admit you'll always find me lingering in the chairs! And what a classic is the Versailles Chair no matter the color you choose!
I fussy cut my lavender chair, continuing to cut out the back pillow and the cushion so I could dry emboss them with the Tim Holtz Paris collage folder. Perhaps you can see the loose back pillow has the word Paris across the top and the bottom is fleur de lis. Then I put it all back together, inserting the awesome Invoke Arts ticket...'Dare to Dream' into the seat cushion. The 'wallpaper' adds just the perfect amount of grooviness, don't you think? Tim Holtz tissue tape in a tiny harlequin pattern marks the baseboard of my room.
So I'd love to hear what you are dreaming about these days...I've kept a dream journal for quite a few years now...some of my dreams have gathered dust, some have taken wings and flown away ~fulfilled~, I am always dreaming up new ones...probably always will...thanks for the gift of your comments.

When you fussy cut, you FUSSY cut, don't you. This is wonderful. The perfect color for a dreaming chair too. You never disappoint me. I love your little harlequin border at the bottom.
