Today is teapot Tuesday and we are sending our cards to each other! The theme for today is Light of Hope. A few days ago I was commenting on how many feminine cards I make....so my subconscious and my hands decided today to make a masculine card. Men need encouragement too. So I will be sending this to a fellow teapotter without an inside sentiment. She can put it in her stash and use it for any number of occasions. The SU DSP did all the work for me. I used both sides of one sheet of DSP. The greeting is from an oldie but goodie SU stamp set called Summer by the Sea.
As I stood back and looked at this card I was pleased that my subconscious had taken over today!!! ha ha
Stay warm all....the thermometer on my back deck says -20 and that doesn't count the wind chill...brrrr

Tina this is fabulous, and is sure to be cased by many. I love how you tore the paper and placed it on top of that great dp. The twine looks terrific and it even looks like a sailors knot. If I am lucky enough to be tickled with this, please write on it as I would not be giving this away my friend.

I love your masculine nautical themed card! The torn edges and knotted twine are wonderful elements against the blue ocean. TFS

Would that all of our cards were as easy as this one coming together for this week's tickle - BUT, you had to find just the right paper to do it, and what a fabulous job at that!!
