I am trying to cover two challenges here to-day. The first one is Queen For the Day - Queen Sharon and this gorgeous card of hers is what inspired this whole story. Thinking of You by shendrian at Splitcoaststampers . Also the Friday challenge was to use nothing but ink and paper. The rest just kind of fell into place. Over the past years when my little friends come over to play we always exchange embossing folders. Consequently I have accumulated a pile of cards with background embossing. Sooooo in keeping with my New Years Resolution to use up my old stuff I chose a chevron design card. I have no idea who made it but it is kinda pretty! I have always loved the sponging/spritzing ink technique and here it is in my favourite colours. The card also has it's own built-in stand which will be part of my stamp club meeting in a couple of weeks.

I just love your pretty CAS card, Sue. Both the chevron background and spritzing/sponging technique are fabulous. And of course, the Royal Purple color is perfect! Thank you so much for making your lovely card and joining in my celebration!
