Today we need to make a cool or warm colored card depending on our temperature. It is currently 7 degrees in Waterford, WI and thankfully I don't need to even poke my nose out today. The dog doesn't even want out.
I grew up in a house with this kind of window. Oh the pretty pictures we always found on cold mornings. They were always on the inside too. Right there for us to mess up.
I put my navy CS through the Cuttlebug and then smeared VersaMark on top of it, added some white sparkle embossing Powder and heat set it. I thought the sentiment was perfect as it sure does sparkle. The blue flower is a Fiskars punch and turned up on the table at just the right time. What do you think? Ever see frost like this at your house?

Hi Neighbor! Put the kettle on for tea and I'll trudge through the snow and be right over! Oh how I wish I could!!
I love your frosted window. I remember messing them up too! Beautiful card Carol.

A lovely frosty window panel with flowers. I sure do remember those frosty windows, but haven't seen one in a long time. Your card is so creative - great job! Stay warm.

Very pretty card. I can remember windows like this. My dear Mom used to say , Old Jack Frost was here, we would run and look out the window, while Daddy would help Mom pour our cocoa. Cold, but fond memories. I haven't thought about those windows in a long time. Your card is very pretty. I love the color combo too. Into my faves. tfs, and thanks for the sweet memory.

I think those of use who read your description all smiled today, remembering back to that time. Frost on the window? Yep, it's still here on a daily basis but thankfully outside this time. What a clever way you simulated it!
