Today the teapotters are sending cards of encouragement to a wonderful family that lost their beloved daughter to illness. It's a very sad story but also filled with love and hope and family.
I had the fabulous florets stamp set out on my craft table from yesterday's challenges and it just fit today as well. My base is made with 2 separate pieces and then I made a paper hinge on the inside. The flowers and leaves were stamped with versa mark on velum, heat embossed and then I used SU markers on the reverse site to give a soft feel. Then I fussy cut them and popped on dimensionals.
I really love the lacey look of this card and hope that Leanne's family will be comforted.

Tina, your vellum flowers are gorgeous! I love the colors you used, especially with the white embossing powder! Your sentiment/scripture is wonderful and encouraging! LOVE the die cuts for the card base, looks so beautiful! Wonderful sympathy card for the family!

Oh my Tina, this is just gorgeous. thanks for the tip of a hinge - great idea. I've never embossed on vellum - been afraid of that - but I'll have to try after seeing this beauty. Your card will bring comfort to the family.
