Today is Queen for the Day challenge and Trish gave us a wonderful way to start off this new year. We all get to pick our own choice for QFTD. I chose Grace Nywening AKA Scrappingramma2. Yesterday Grace told us that her dear MIL was close to going to Heaven and she has weighed heavy on my heart since then. I thought that I would let her know I was thinking of her by CASEing one of her gorgeous cards. Grace was also QFTD11 back when this wonderful challenge first started.
I tried very hard to keep the overall feeling of her beautiful creation. Only the sentiment and label 14 are the same... the rest is as close as I could come with my supplies. I think her card is square and mine is an A7. I made the rose for my card. The vintage lace ribbon is a cherished piece from my late mother's stash.
Grace please know that prayers are coming your way.
